“This is what the LORD says— he who made a way through the sea, a path through the mighty waters, “Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.””
-Isaiah 43:16

Happy New Year! There is a way to live your life each and every day in which you give of yourself for those around you. This is all about trust. It’s all about faith. It’s all about believing. It’s not about hurting others or judging anyone. It’s about offering yourself so that others may live, so that others may see and know that which is holy and good. As you allow Him to act in and thru you in each and every moment, He rearranges your heart so that it aligns with His good and perfect will. That’s the trust factor. Do you believe that He has a good and perfect plan for you? Can you believe in Him even though He promises a life of trouble and difficulty? Can you trust Him to show you the path to navigate across every troublesome water you encounter? He IS doing a new thing! He IS making a way through the wilderness and streams in the wasteland! You ARE LOVED!!! You ARE unique in all the world and LOVED beyond your own comprehension. He IS working all of this to a great and glorious good. I do believe. I do trust. I do have faith. And help my unbelief, Father. Strengthen my faith, Father. Help my mind believe what I have seen and what I cannot see. I am not my own. I cannot find my way without You. I surrender my life to You now; this moment. If today is all I have left here, I pray that the moments I share with those I am near are glorifying Your name. I pray that I am celebrating Your house and pointing the way to it. I pray that this day is an inspiration to continue on in the face of that which attempts to frighten me. As it is said so many times, “Be not afraid!”
What was it that Will Smith said in that movie? “We are all telling ourselves a story.” Don’t be afraid of how your story ends. If you have even a mustard seed of faith, your story has already had a beautiful ending that is simply without explanation.

Go in peace today and ready yourself for the next moment, without fear, yet in trust, faith, and hope. Go. Be available for His good and perfect will.
